Overview

Join our expanding Corporate Actions team supporting a true front‑office trading environment. You’ll partner closely with Equity Finance, Cash Trading, Securities Lending, Settlements and Technology to deliver high‑quality execution on time‑critical corporate action events, strengthen controls, and drive automation and process improvement.

What you’ll do

  • Own the end‑to‑end Corporate Actions lifecycle across APAC markets: capture, validation/scrubbing, elections, entitlement calculation, postings, break investigation, and cash/securities reconciliation.
  • Process mandatory and voluntary events (dividends, splits, rights/tenders, offers, mergers, schemes of arrangement, buy‑backs, DRPs), validating against issuer documentation, exchange notices, and custodian communications.
  • Support dividend capture/optimization and related trade capture; coordinate closely with Securities Lending and Trading.
  • Coordinate withholding tax reclaims across APAC jurisdictions and maintain required documentation.
  • Identify trading opportunities and risks stemming from corporate actions; communicate cut‑offs and options clearly to desks and stakeholders.
  • Maintain robust controls and management information (break management, KPIs); escalate issues promptly and lead remediation.
  • Partner with Technology to automate workflows and enhance reporting; contribute to UAT and production rollouts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, custodians, issuers, and external counterparties across time zones.

What we’re looking for

  • 3–5 years’ hands‑on Corporate Actions experience within a broker, bank, hedge fund, or asset manager, with deep APAC market knowledge.
  • In‑depth understanding of mandatory and voluntary event mechanics and APAC market infrastructures.
  • Solid grasp of settlements and securities lending touchpoints; confident navigating time‑critical exchange and custodian cut‑offs.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail; proven ability to operate under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Clear stakeholder communication; comfortable supporting traders and operations peers in a front‑office setting.
  • Advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, reconciliation tooling); exposure to SQL/VBA/Python is a plus.
  • Degree in Business/Finance or equivalent experience.

What’s in it for you

  • Our flat hierarchy enables you to drive meaningful impact, by leveraging your expertise and taking ownership.
  • Greenfield impact: newly created role as we scale across APAC.
  • Private healthcare and gym allowances, plus wellness initiatives.
  • Additional leave entitlements including marriage leave and 2 bonus days annually.
  • Fully stocked kitchen, with daily breakfast and lunch.
  • Regular social, sporting and community events including annual poker tournament.
  • Matched donations and corporate discounts.
