Overview

The Business Project Manager plays a key role in driving the successful execution of initiatives within the Risk Management function. This individual will lead cross-functional projects, and manage program-level workstreams.

 

The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience, stakeholder engagement skills, and an understanding of risk or governance processes within a regulated or operationally complex environment.

 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of business-driven projects
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage milestones, monitor progress, and report on outcomes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings: prepare agendas, briefing materials, minutes, and track action items.
  • Identify and resolve risks, issues, and roadblocks across project lifecycles.
  • Support the development of internal communications, status updates, and stakeholder engagement materials.
  • Collaborate with functional leads (e.g., IT, Legal, Ops) to align project goals with business objectives and risk priorities.
  • Develop clear and concise reporting for senior leadership and risk committees.

What we’re looking for

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, business coordination and stakeholder engagement
  • Comfortable interacting with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior-level participants.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with PM tools and technologies (e.g., Jira, Python, SQL)

Preferred:

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across multiple teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with minimal supervision.
