Overview

As a Financial Operations Analyst with a focus on Treasury Management, you will work on a dynamic team that supports both day-to-day financial operations and longer-term strategic projects. The role involves close collaboration with our international offices and cross-functional teams across the firm. Approximately 75% of your time will be dedicated to project work, with the remaining 25% focused on recurring daily tasks and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

Project-Based Work

  • Develop and maintain automated reporting tools for trade interest and portfolio balances.
  • Build internal web pages for operational visibility, transparency, and alert monitoring.
  • Analyze and help manage FX exposure across currencies and regions.
  • Drive reconciliation initiatives to ensure accuracy of interest and balance data.
  • Present insights and trends to senior management to aid in strategic decision-making.

Daily Operational Tasks

  • Manage and optimize margin financing and daily cash movement across accounts and entities.
  • Perform firmwide cash excess estimation and reconciliation to ensure optimal liquidity positioning.
  • Collaborate with treasury and trading desks to implement capital allocation strategies.

What we’re looking for

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably with exposure to trading, operations, treasury, or market-facing roles.
  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • SQL, Python, and HTML.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising with international offices and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • VBA and JavaScript exposure.
  • Experience in proprietary trading or capital markets.
  • Familiarity with margin, financing rates, and multi-currency exposure management.
  • A proactive mindset and desire to automate and improve legacy processes.

What’s In It For You

  • Our non-hierarchical culture allows employees of every level to thrive and make impact. We are not your typical trading firm – the environment is casual, collaborative and we focus on continuous development.
  • Relaxed dress code (jeans and sneakers are the norm and team jerseys every Friday)
  • Fully stocked kitchens for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages
  • A 40,000 square-foot state of the art fitness facility with brand-new equipment, multi-purpose courts, group exercise classes, and locker room spaces
  • Discounts for dining, entertainment, shopping, travel, and attractions
  • Social events such as a poker tournament, holiday party, company outings, and more
  • On-site Wellness Center
  • On-site services such as a mailroom, barber, dry cleaning, and car maintenance
  • Opportunities to give back to the community through Susquehanna sponsored events and donation drives
