Overview

Susquehanna International Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with expertise in plumbing and other property maintenance duties including painting, woodworking, and general repair for our 400,000 square foot Bala Cynwyd headquarters. This role is essential for ensuring our property remains in top condition, both functionally and aesthetically. The right candidate should be self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of team, and able to collaborate with facilities and contractors.

 

In this role you will: 

  • Specialize in plumbing and perform general facilities and property maintenance.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and patching imperfections.
  • Apply paint, stains, and finishes to a variety of surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Patch, repair, and replace drywall as needed.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of building exteriors, including power washing and touch-ups.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify repair needs and proactively address them.
  • Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and other building components.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Maintain and repair common areas, lobbies, stairwells, and hallways to ensure safety and aesthetics.
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools necessary for repairs and installations.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and larger projects.
  • Keep detailed maintenance logs and report completed work to management.

What we’re looking for

  • Mimimum of 5 years experience in plumbing and general facilities maintenance required.
  • Master Plumber License a plus but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Ability to work from ladders.
  • Ability to identify coating material and match tint and tone.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete projects efficiently.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and tools up to 50 lbs.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with tenants, internal teams, and contractors.
  • Familiarity with commercial painting standards preferred.
  • Experience in basic electric and HVAC a plus but not required.

  • Certification or formal training in woodworking, painting, or property maintenance a plus but not required.
  • Previous experience working in property management or commercial maintenance roles.
