Overview

Susquehanna is a global proprietary trading firm founded with a growth mindset and a rigorous analytical approach to decision making. We bring together the brightest minds, the best technology, and an expansive library of data to design and implement proprietary trading strategies that make us leaders in the financial markets. Our ability to think together (but not always alike) propels our success.

Technology is at the core of our winning strategy. As a C# Developer on our Market Data team, you’ll help ensure our trading desks have access to high-quality, reliable market data. You’ll work closely with traders and fellow technologists to develop systems that manage the collection, validation, and distribution of critical financial data. From refining database design to building scalable C# applications, your work will have a direct impact on Susquehanna’s trading performance globally.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with traders and quants to understand data needs and implement solutions that ensure high data integrity and low latency
  • Design and optimize relational databases, applying strong SQL and schema design principles
  • Write clean, maintainable code in C# as part of a fast-paced development team.
  • Contribute to system architecture discussions, help drive technical decisions, and mentor other developers
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to data quality, access, and processing performance.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of experience with C# in a professional setting
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design
  • Solid foundation in object-oriented programming and software design principles
  • Strong attention to detail, especially around data validation and integrity
  • Effective communicator who can explain complex technical concepts clearly
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest or experience in financial instruments (ETFs, equities, futures, options).
  • Exposure to Python development
  • Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and DBT (data build tool)
  • Experience working with market data vendors (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv/Reuters).

What Sets SIG Apart

At SIG, we bring a game-theory mindset to every challenge. Our teams work side-by-side, using rapid feedback and tight feedback loops to optimize performance in real time. Whether you’re solving a technical bottleneck or building a tool to analyze market trends, your work will directly support our trading edge.
