Overview

We are looking for an Employee Experience and Events Lead to join our HR and Recruiting team in Dublin. In this creative and diverse role, you will build strong relationships with a wide range of people across our business to embed our culture, deliver a great employee experience and bring fun to our teams across our Dublin and London offices.

 

In this role you will create truly remarkable events from conception through planning and execution. This role will entail organising big (and small) events such as company parties, onsite events, All Hands meetings and team building events. You will also be responsible for our free food programme, working closely with our catering provider to ensure delivery of an excellent service across all four kitchens. A key part of the role will be identifying and organising opportunities to improve employee experience in Dublin and collaborating with our offices globally to share ideas and information to ensure a great experience for Susquehanna employees around the world.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Champion Employee Experience
    • Identify, design and implement strategies and programmes which improve employee experience
    • Help to understand, define, and drive culture through intentional and engaging activities
    • Work with local and global benefits teams to identify the best benefits and perks for the Dublin and London offices
  • Manage and deliver Engaging Employee Events
    • Manage, design and plan Susquehanna’s events calendar
    • Oversee and facilitate all aspects of event planning for events, including site selection, vendor negotiation, event registration, marketing, travel logistics, onsite staffing, and post-event reporting
    • Create, manage, and review budgets for all events
  • Internal Communications
    • Work with the communications partner in the US to craft all internal communications for Dublin and London
  • Manage our Free Food Programme
    • Work closely with our catering partner on all aspects of our food programme
    • Daily review of the food offering
    • Engaging with employees on their satisfaction and sharing feedback with the provider

What we’re looking for

  • An engaged, results-oriented achiever with a focus on driving projects to successful completion
  • Ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and strong communication skills, particularly writing
  • Experience with negotiation for vendor relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build effective work relationships with all levels within the organization
  • Ability and flexibility to attend events
  • Experience managing an inhouse food programme is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 8 years’ + experience
