Susquehanna International Group is looking for a Production Engineering team to join our Sports Analytics team in our Bala Cynwyd, PA office. You will work directly with our technologists, traders and quantitative research analysts to maintain the reliability, performance, and scalability of systems that are critical to our sports analytics infrastructure.

In this role, you will:

• Provide technology support to the business during major trading events (Major Sporting Events)
• Be the primary point of contact for traders/quants/developers for technology related issues.
• Provide off-office hours support when necessary (Follow-The-Sun/Shift Work/OnCall when required).
• Participate in the management of all systems, taking advantage of all existing tools and data repositories.
• Know the production environment and topology.
• Support, maintain and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines
• Support, maintain, and build out monitoring and automation for application infrastructure and platforms
  supported in our environment.
• Research & develop of new technologies and solutions to enhance performance, availability, and
  reliability of our IT Systems & Infrastructure
• Work towards improving our automation and orchestration solutions
• Actively test, measure, and analyze results to vet ideas and optimize choices throughout the stack
• Collaborate with other engineers towards common goal of improving existing platforms and solutions as
  per the business needs
• Create, update, and maintain documentation for internal use.
• Coordinate the creation of test and staging environments when necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or another related technical field.
• MS Azure AZ-104/ AWS SOA-C02 or equivalent experience (1-3 years in cloud-based environments)
• Good understanding of networking concepts (comprehensive understanding of OSI Layers 2-7)
• Troubleshooting, root cause analysis and communication skills
• Understanding of system performance metrics and capacity planning
• Python or PowerShell scripting skills
• Previous experience in some of the following concepts & technologies:
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Terraform/Cloud Formation/Azure Resource Management
    Templates
  • Configuration management systems (Ansible/AWX), automation pipelines (ArgoCD/Azure
    DevOps or similar), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Version Control (git)
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Docker/Kubernetes
  • Monitoring and Logging: (Prometheus/Grafana/Elastic stack)
  • Networking and Security: Virtual Private Cloud/Security Groups and Network ACLs/Identity and
    Access management
  • Storage technologies (Object/File) - Implementing and managing storage accounts and
    resources)
  • NoSql databases/messaging brokers (MongoDB/Redis/RabbitMQ/Kafka or similar) - implement
    efficient, scalable, and reliable cloud data solutions
