Susquehanna's Data Center team is responsible for the management and support of our onsite data centers, which span more than 12,000 square feet combined and consist of over 6000 multi-vendor devices.  This team is responsible for executing deployments and change in a dynamic mission critical data center along with ensuring our business critical systems are operating at a high performance level. You will gain hands on experience with a broad range of technologies including networking, telecommunications, security, server hardware and software, as well as various tools used to manage the environments.  You will not be taking tickets and escalating them.  You will own and troubleshoot issues that arise, and when escalation is required, you will partner with our engineering teams to quickly implement a solution.

Primary Requirements:

    • Ability to work the midday/evening shift from 12:00pm - 10:30pm.
    • Strong understanding of technology fundamentals in a critical infrastructure environment
    • Experience with server and/or networking installations, implementations and/or deployments required
    • Ability to troubleshoot systems and applications in a timely manner required
    • 2+ years of experience in a technical field support, systems administration, data center or related technical position preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or other technical discipline preferred
    • Windows and networking knowledge required; basic knowledge of Linux/Unix preferred
    • Understanding of critical IT facilities infrastructure and structured cabling
    • Basic scripting experience preferred
    • Familiarity with Enterprise monitoring, backup, and scheduling platforms
