Overview

The Sales Manager will be instrumental in building and expanding Susquehanna’s presence in the Korean markets. This role requires a deep understanding of derivatives and financial markets, an established local network, and strong relationship-building skills. Based in Korea, Hong Kong, or Singapore, with regular travel to Korea, the role will focus on onboarding, facilitating, and trading with Structured Product (SP) issuers and other outbound trading desks; monitoring Korean flows; and managing the full scope of Korean derivatives sales activity. You will also play a key role in working with our broader Sales teams to position Susquehanna as a unified sales business across the region.

What you’ll do

Sales

  • Facilitate the onboarding of Korean SP issuers and other trading entities, ensuring strong integration with Susquehanna’s trading capabilities.
  • Manage Korean outbound derivative flow, with responsibility for monitoring and analysing sources of flow and volatility.
  • Partner with sales teams to present Susquehanna as a unified sales business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with APAC teams and institutional sales to strengthen the firm’s market presence.

Market Intelligence & Growth

  • Develop market intelligence specific to Korea and provide timely insights on market developments, including regulatory changes where applicable.
  • Translate market information and research to help strengthen access to local sales reports, numbers, and insights.

Communication & Relationship Building

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders across Korea’s financial markets.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact between Susquehanna and local partners, facilitating smooth collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Represent the firm at industry meetings and conferences.

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in Korean and broader Asian financial markets.
  • Proven track record within a trading business, broking firm, bank, or exchange.
  • Extensive knowledge of trading flows (equities, options, futures, with ETFs also helpful).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong network and established relationships in the Korean financial markets.
  • Ability to anticipate and adapt to regulatory and market changes.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Korean and English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly collaborative, self-motivated, and proactive
