Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, APAC, you will provide support and coaching to leaders and teams across a range of departments in Australia and Asia Pacific. Your expertise will be instrumental in partnering with the business to drive HR strategy, and supporting the business achieve its goals.

What you’ll do

  • Supporting Senior HR Business Partners across all business groups, including interfacing directly with managers and senior leaders.
  • Provide counsel and coaching to managers and employees on employee relations topics such as performance management, grievances and misconduct
  • Support and manage components of the employee life cycle and talent management processes, including the performance review process, international and domestic transfers, employee development, policy and process interpretation, work health and safety matters and offboarding
  • Collaborate effectively with the broader learning and development, recruitment, employee experience and payroll teams to ensure a holistic HR approach
  • Analysing people data and identifying trends to deliver insights to management and recommend actions.
  • Identify opportunities and take action to build or improve processes
  • Manage a broad range of HR Projects
  • Be an escalation point for HR coordinator on HR policy and practices

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field (preferred) or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience as a HR Generalist or related HR specialism (e.g. employee relations)
  • Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee and company information.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills, with high levels f attention to detail
  • Demonstrated capacity to influence and engage stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong relationships with business partners
  • A pragmatic and results driven approach
  • High levels of self-awareness and organisational awareness
  • Perceptive in interpreting interactions among individuals and groups within the matrix structure
  • Proven ability to work with, inspire and create consensus with a group to cooperatively achieve common goals
