Overview

Susquehanna is currently looking for a Workplace Technology Mover for an in office role located in our Bala Cynwyd, PA headquarters. 

 

This role is responsible for executing office moves under the direction of the Move Coordinator. This role primarily involves reviewing move schedules, ensuring breakdown and setup of PC and Telecom desk equipment, and basic troubleshooting of any issues that arise during the move process. You will be responsible for other move related work as well as post move quality checks. You will also work closely with IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for all employees involved in the move. 

 

The current opening is on our afternoon shift from 1:00pm to 9:00pm.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the Move Coordinator to perform desk and office relocation, ensuring all tasks you complete are to the highest standard. 
  • Building and installing desk monitor mounts and cabling sleeves.
  • Assist in setting up and powering on computers and telephones at desks. 
  • Rolling of mobile desks between spaces.
  • Printing and installing name and location plates within our trading rooms.
  • Ensuring the professional appearance of our desks and open spaces.
  • Cleaning IT inventory storage areas.
  • Installing printer cartridges and ensuring cleanly appearance of printing areas.
  • Updating user and computer locations in asset tracking systems.
  • Reporting IT issues as discovered to IT teams.
  • Mentor any new team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development. 
  • May receive additional tasks and may need to work occasional over-time for large moves.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Flexibility to work second shift and adapt to changing priorities. 
  • Must be able to lift/move equipment up to 50+ pounds 
  • Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future.
