Overview

Alternative Majors in Trading + Quant Finance:

Curious about how your major can lead to a career in quantitative trading? Join our virtual Alternative Majors in Trading + Quant Finance Discovery Event! Discover how diverse backgrounds, including medicine, physics, and actuarial science, can thrive in the trading world. If you've studied for a career and realized you enjoy the underlying skills sets but not the actual application of the career itself, this event is perfect for you!

Throughout our sessions, you will have the opportunity to hear from Susquehanna employees who can share their experiences and how they have successfully applied their unique degrees to their role. We will help you get comfortable with the trading interview process by giving you an inside look at how we assess candidates' quantitative and technical skills. Through examples in probability and logic concepts, you will learn directly from our leaders about how we evaluate problem-solving skills in our trading, technology, research, and other business interviews. Additionally, you will gain insight into our business from our senior leadership.

The event will be held in late March/early April. We will be in touch in early march regarding next steps for attendance.

What we’re looking for

This opportunity is open to STEM students from a variety of backgrounds.

Please submit your resume in order to be considered for the program.

Susquehanna does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or search firms. Any resume or referral submitted in the absence of a signed agreement will become the property of Susquehanna and no fee will be paid.
