Overview

Working from our Singapore or Hong Kong office, as a client-facing member of our team, you will work directly with senior team members on all ongoing sales, service, and communication with clients as well as our other partners. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast paced & growing Asian Sales team in the early stages of building out a core part of Susquehanna’s APAC business.

Susquehanna has a new opportunity for you to join our ETF Sales and Capital Markets team, where you will get to help build our Asian ETF Sales Business. Think start up culture but with the backup of an established global business.

 

As an ETF Sales and Capital Markets Analyst you will work with our senior analysts to master product mechanics and the various client channels that make up the ecosystem - including asset managers, hedge funds, and fund issuers, that make up this $4 Trillion industry.

 

What you’ll do

  • Establish strong relationships with our institutional customers as well as other market participants.
  • Identify relevant trading activity in the market.
  • Facilitate trades with our customers by liaising with our internal trading desks located globally.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the trade.
  • Work with counterparties to analyse the performance of a wide range of execution strategies.

What we’re looking for

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience within financial industry, preferably with some ETF experience

  • Finance, Economics or other related degree, with a distinction average WAM/GPA.

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: self-starters, quick learners and novel approaches to problem solving

  • Analytical + Logical: When it comes to decision making, you use clear and sound reasoning.

  • You’re rational and like to use analytical data and financial research skills to come up with sensible solutions.

  • Communicators: You enjoy building relationships with those you work closely with. You enjoy sharing ideas, expressing your thoughts, and listening to the views of others – excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must for this role

  • Team Player: Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

  • Curious: You’re excited by a career in the Markets/Investment finance and understand investment products and services.

  • Technical Skills:  VBA Excel is a must, Python desirable.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment

  • Demonstrated experience creating strong and positive relationships with customers, brokers, ETF Issuers and internal stakeholders.

  • Thrive as a self-starter, enjoy learning and developing professionally.

  • Ability to travel internationally for client meetings and conferences as needed

  • Proficiency in a second language a plus
