As a Software Developer at Susquehanna, you’ll work alongside experienced software engineers on the development, delivery, support, and enhancement of our trading systems and infrastructure. With guidance and mentoring from your team, you’ll get hands-on experience beginning on your first day.  In addition, we customize a learning and development plan to help you get to know the people you’ll be working with, what your team is responsible for, and our technical environment. This plan includes a combination of technical classes as well as overviews of our technology teams that will enhance your knowledge and allow you to grow further within your team.

What You Could Work On:

• Designing and developing low-latency trading systems for our trading desks
• Developing high performance low level C++ code for handling the first steps of our market data processes
• Conducting technology research projects related to scale and performance with open source tools
• Developing applications and services that receive and store trading activity
• Creating tools to improve system efficiency using performance data

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent plus 3+ years of progressive experience developing software applications using an object-oriented language.
• Strong software development skills in any object oriented language (we use C++, Python, and C# the most)
• Visa sponsorship is available for this position.
