As an Executive Recruiting Co-op, you will work collaboratively with our portfolio companies and investment team to accelerate portfolio growth. This is an opportunity to work with high-growth software companies (with $10-100M+ revenue) on a wide range of strategic talent and people-related topics. You will quickly gain valuable experience as you team directly with portfolio company leadership on topics such as executive search, talent development and retention, compensation, human capital, culture, and DE&I. The Executive recruiting Co-Op will report directly to the Head of Talent and support the broader Portfolio Value Creation Talent team.

 

Representative Responsibilities

  • Identifying and sourcing A+ executive talent for SGE portfolio companies
  • Proactively recruit, engage, and manage relationships for 8+ executive searches
  • Perform market research and industry analysis to build and improve portfolio market maps
  • Proactively manage and organize talent network of 12k+ contacts
  • Partner with HR advisors, consultants, and preferred executive and high-velocity search providers
  • Maintain comprehensive compensation, incentive, and benefits benchmarks
  • Collaborate with Head of Talent, Portfolio Value Creation, as well as the Investment Team to evolve Talent Team and impact

What we’re looking for

  • Interest in human capital, talent, and people operations within SaaS and Growth Equity
  • Comfortable doing outreach or finding creative ways to get in front of A+ C-suite executives
  • Basic understanding of SaaS companies and organizational design
  • Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and attention to detail
  • Relationship-driven; ability to build and foster relationships with candidates and stakeholders
  • Outgoing, self-starter, and driven personality; is not afraid of rejection
  • Innate focus on output, self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks independently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative and proactive in nature
  • Impressive academic record
