Overview

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is looking for a Production Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team within the Options group.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Be on the front lines helping to improve the quality of data delivery, storage and development
  • Collaborate across multiple development and quantitative groups. 
  • Be part of the entire lifecycle of strategy development.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent
  • 2-3 years of professional work experience required
  • Experience in Linux or Windows systems administration – work in a medium to large-enterprise server environment is a plus
  • Basic understanding of  operating system fundamentals
  • Scripting experience ( PowerShell or Python for example) and server deployment tools experience is  desirable
  • Enthusiasm for working with data, especially large sets of data.
  • Strong aesthetics for cleanliness and correctness in data, great attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment. 
  • Strong verbal communication skills
