Our database team is expanding, as a Development DBA with Oracle & PL/SQL you be part of our cross-functional team. You will focus on design and build, of shared platform infrastructure to maximize availability, reliability and performance. Analyzing and troubleshooting performance related issues.

We work in a complex, distributed environment and continually strive to improve systems capacity, increase speed, ensure stability and mitigate risk in every system.

• • Minimum 5 years’ DBA experience, Oracle required
  • Excellent understanding of SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and database optimisation
  • Experience building Highly Availability infrastructure
  • Strong Understanding of Linux platforms (RHEL, SUSE)
  • Strong scripting ability with bash, python and proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible.
  • Ability to work quickly in fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Capable of working independently and can self-assign work to be productive
  • Experience of change management processes
  • Experience serving in a production support role including a 24x7 on-call rotation
