Overview

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is seeking an experienced Head of Corporate Hospitality and Catering to lead and elevate the catering experience across our US offices. This position entails managing our catering services to ensure efficient kitchen operations, visually appealing kitchen spaces, and the presentation of daily food offerings. The individual will cater to the varied dietary needs of our employees, actively seek and integrate their feedback, oversee inventory management, and lead the Catering Services Team. We are looking for a professional with a robust background in hospitality, specifically in food management, and experience leading a team to exceed the high standards of our diverse clientele.

In this role, you will:

  • Direct the overall catering services experience within SIG's US offices, guaranteeing high-quality food, diverse options, and exceptional service.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of kitchen activities, upholding stringent standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and safety.
  • Design the layout and presentation of the kitchens to foster a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.
  • Regularly update food options on display screens.
  • Meet the dietary preferences and needs of employees by providing a range of nutritious and enticing breakfast, lunch, and snack choices.
  • Actively seek and assess employee feedback to continually refine food selections.
  • Conduct responsible stock management, including inventory oversight, procurement, and waste reduction.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Catering Services Team, promoting a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and outstanding service.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends in corporate catering and hospitality and implement innovative practices.
  • Formulate and oversee the catering budget, balancing cost-efficiency with the maintenance of high-quality standards.
  • Work with other departments to facilitate company events, meetings, and special occasions with premier catering services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and culinary experts to improve our dining options.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in hospitality management, with an emphasis on dining services.
  • A proven history of leading a diverse and dynamic team in a high-energy setting.
  • A passion for food and service excellence
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of inspiring and guiding a team to excellence.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage with employees across all levels.
  • Creativity and innovation in menu planning, food presentation, and staying current with food and beverage trends.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite for communication, scheduling, and reporting
  • Experience in budget oversight and cost management within a catering or hospitality context.
  • The flexibility to adjust to business shifts and to work beyond standard office hours when necessary.
