Overview

Our Production Engineering team plays a critical role in maintaining our trading environment.  This team is responsible for the monitoring and management of our large hardware environment, always looking for new ways to improve our monitoring capabilities.  As a part of this team, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with trading strategy and infrastructure development teams as you deploy and configure new strategies and technologies. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a range of tools used for monitoring, automation, configuration management and job management within our key trading platform.

 

By integrating sophisticated coding techniques with innovative engineering ideas, we design and optimize systems that can process massive amounts of data while still ensuring high performance and stability. Working with traders and quants, our systems engineers, network architects, technical analysts and software developers create industry-leading technical solutions.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline
  • Experience with C#, Python, or other Object Oriented Programming Languages
  • Willingness and ability to work in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Supporting the systems infrastructure, trading applications, database teams, and/or developer groups by diagnosing systems problems, recommending solutions, and implementing initiatives
  • Troubleshooting systems & reducing our time to resolution by working directly with engineering teams to improve log ingestion pipelines, job scheduling, and performance monitoring
  • Maintaining CI/CD infrastructure and coordinating daily system level changes, in both Windows and Linux environments
  • Utilizing scripting languages (including PowerShell, Bash, and Python) to automate repetitive tasks including system testing, deployments, maintenance, and management
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
