    Susquehanna International Group (SIG) has a job opening for a Business Analyst to join our Operations team at our Bala Cynwyd headquarters. As a member of this team, you will be tasked with helping to solve business problems and enhancing and extending business capabilities of the firm by contributing to the development of innovative, advanced, stable systems.


    By joining our team, you will partner with and liaise between Operations and Technology to translate and document business requirements for both groups. This will allow you to proactively improve business processes and provide in depth analysis within the Operations group. You will also gain more broadly based exposure to products traded across the firm as you interact with other trading desks who manage daily margin calls and support the firm’s position financing.


    Your role will entail:

    • Gathering requirements from stakeholders using techniques such as interviews, design sessions, surveys and/or other techniques as needed to create functional specification workflows
    • Liaising with technical and line of business teams to coordinate technical tasks and projects, ensuring prioritization and completion are consistently in line with business need
    • Managing tasks, projects and initiatives within assigned business areas/systems
    • Communicating frequently with Operations Managers and other stakeholders and provide status updates on current projects
    • Providing user manuals and train Operations staff on newly developed applications
    • Collaborating with Technology Project Managers for assistance with tasks or projects

    What we’re looking for

    Required / Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree required; specialization in business or finance preferred
    • Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in a Business Analysis role in IT/operations environment with management of SDLC projects
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills critical, with excellent time management/ prioritization abilities
    • Ability to work independently when needed (with little or no supervision), and also work well within a project team
    • Flexibility to take on tasks at short notice, as well as handle multiple tasks with multiple deadlines
    • Knowledge of SDLC models is a plus
    • Proficient understanding of relational database concepts preferred
    • Experience with Excel required; experience with VBA, SQL and/or scripting (i.e. Python) preferred
    • Project management experience a plus
