    Here at Susquehanna, our Exchange Connectivity Team are currently seeking a Junior Software Developer to develop and maintain applications, utilities and libraries related to low latency exchange connectivity and real-time market data processing. 


    Our Team maintains applications for the APAC region, across several asset classes.  They are forward thinking connectivity experts, with excellent knowledge of C++, Python and Linux. In addition, our technologists are excellent communicators, and the ability to collaborate with team members (traders, technologists, and business partners) being key to success in our software development space.

    What we’re looking for

    What we’re looking for:

    • A degree qualified professional with a major in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering.
    • 3+ years relevant work experience.
    • Comfortable working on C++, Python and Linux.
    • Experience of developing modern back-end web apps is preferred. (i.e. REST API)
    • Hardware, operating system, and networking knowledge is beneficial.
    • A team player who can also work effectively independently.
    • The ability to prioritise tasks and plan for and meet deadlines.
    • The ability to communicate effectively with a range of technical and non-technical staff across the organisation.
