  • Overview

    SIG is seeking a software developer with an interest in sports who will design, program and maintain technology related to our sports analytics practice. By leveraging our quantitative and technology abilities, we analyze large amounts of data in real time to solve complex trading problems in sports markets.


    In this role you will be involved with the full-life cycle of development, working directly with researchers and other technologists on the continued enhancement of our research analysis and trading platform. You will be involved with designing and creating the vital applications that integrate historical data and streaming data feeds from multiple sources as well as work on simulation models and the overall pricing tools we use to trade.

    What we’re looking for

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline (If you have equivalent technical experience instead, that’ll work too!)
    • Experience developing software applications and/or services
    • Recent hands on experience with developing in Python and C++
    • Understanding of basic probability and statistics
    • A passion for and familiarity of sports including Football, Basketball, Baseball and Tennis
