Overview

Our Trading Operations team has the critical task of ensuring that all of our trades are processed and executed successfully. They analyze trading data and look for ways to optimize processes that help drive business decisions on our trading desks. By joining as an Operations Analyst aligned to Fixed Income trading, you will have the opportunity to merge your product knowledge and technical capabilities.

 

Reasons to join our Operations team:

  • You will work directly with our Fixed Income traders, clearing agents, customers, and internal teams to ensure all trades are processed successfully, directly impacting the success of our business
  • In this role you will be responsible for the full operational life-cycle of all trades, which includes new customer set-up, settlements, reconciliations, financing of positions, break/fail resolutions, and more
  • You will utilize your problem solving capabilities, as you research and resolve questions, disputes and data errors that occur in our fast paced trading environment
  • Through identifying areas for enhancements, you will get to both recommend and partner with our technology teams to drive changes to the trading platforms we develop internally

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required; specialization in Finance or a related discipline preferred
  • 6+ years of operations, trade support or related experience required
  • Experience with settlement and matching process for bonds (Municipal and Corporate Bonds on DTC, U.S. Treasuries on FED and GSCC, and Emerging Market Bonds on Euroclear)
  • Knowledge of over the counter (OTC) and cleared Fixed Income derivatives including CDS, CDX, Interest Rate Swaps and Swaptions
  • Experience with prime brokerage financing and REPO markets
  • Understanding of Profit and Loss calculation as well as Risk and Regulatory Reporting
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Access
  • VBA, SQL and/or scripting (i.e. Python) ability a plus
