Due to continued growth at SIG’s European Headquarters in Dublin, a new role has become available for a Facilities Co-ordinator. Reporting to the Facilities Manager you will have a full array of duties in assisting the Facilities Manager to ensure the organisation has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities, using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.


The role of Facilities Coordinator will form part of the SIG Facilities Team and report to the Facilities Manager. A broad array of duties is expected within the role with some examples of duties as follows.



If you join us, you will:

  • Assist team with delivery of soft and hard services, for example; cleaning, catering, security, waste, mechanical and electrical systems, technical building services etc.
  • Operation of facilities helpdesk, processing work orders and developing reports for both planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Assist team in space planning with management and co-ordinating team moves. Being involved in office re-fit projects.
  • Provide assistance to administrating H&S duties and coordinate all workplace activities in accordance with organisation's safety policy.
  • Ensure excellent workplace housekeeping and site is presentable for staff and external visitors.
  • Assist the facilities team on operating the staff gym facilities.
  • Assist with promoting the facilities function and activities to all staff.

What we’re looking for

  • 1-2 year’s relevant facilities/mechanical experience, with a demonstrable interest to develop within the field of facilities management
  • A qualification in a relevant field is desirable e.g. Real Estate, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, Building Services or Property construction
  • Excellent customer service and people skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written format
  • A clear desire to achieve excellence in their work and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Ability and aptitude to introduce new ideas and bring innovations to the work environment.
  • Demonstrate a self-starter attitude and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Authority requirements with respect to facilities management, e.g. IOSH or NEBOSH qualification would be an advantage.
  • High proficiency MS Office Suite is essential
  • Experience in project management and Auto CAD (floor-plan design software) is an advantage
