Overview

Susquehanna is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join the trading technology team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will perform support, deployment, and automate tasks related to the management of Susquehanna's Post Trade Technology systems throughout the Asia Pacific region. 

 

The position offers the opportunity to be involved in scripting and automation tasks to improve the monitoring, management, and deployment of Post Trade Technology systems on both the Windows and Linux operating systems. You'll get exposure to state-of-the-art trading systems and work as part of a high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to grow and develop their skillset in a well-established HFT environment 

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in application support, including deployment, production support, and system monitoring 
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on Post-Trade Technology applications and processes 
  • Demonstrated strong technical capability, including experience with one or more of the following: scripting, C#, Python, SQL, or other relevant programming languages 
  • Proven experience supporting applications across both Windows and Linux operating environments 
  • Solid understanding of trade processing lifecycles, including Operations and Middle Office processes, and experience providing first-line support in a time-critical, high-volume environment 
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred
