We are looking for a Credit Relationship Manager to expand and enhance our connectivity with issuers, syndicate desks, and dealer capital markets teams. This role supports a Portfolio Manager and a team of analysts conducting rigorous, bottom‑up credit research. You will help drive differentiated access, improve primary and secondary market execution, and serve as a key interface between Susquehanna and the broader credit ecosystem.

 

This is an opportunity to take ownership of relationship development, build a scalable external engagement framework, and directly influence the investment process through improved flow of information, access, and deal‑related insights.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with syndicate desks, corporate issuers, and private capital channels.
  • Drive improvement in primary market allocations in both IG and HY credit.
  • Make sure that team is aware of the forward pipeline of issuance and partner with dealers by providing reverse inquiry, deal structures pricing frameworks.
  • Enhance secondary market connectivity through strengthening two-way dialogue with credit sales & trading to improve market color, liquidity sourcing, axes, and block opportunities.
  • Act as thought leader in developing thematic investing opportunities while working alongside sector analysts.

What we’re looking for

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in credit sales, trading, DCM/syndicate, or on the buy‑
  • Ability to build senior‑level relationships with syndicate teams and issuers to drive better allocations.
  • Strong working knowledge of primary issuance mechanics, book building, allocation dynamics, and secondary trading/liquidity in IG/HY.
  • Familiarity with credit fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable representing the team’s priorities with external counterparties.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) a plus.

 

The annual base pay range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits. Susquehanna considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
