Infrastructure Regional Specialist

Susquehanna has an opening for a Infrastructure Regional Specialist to join our growing Technology project team. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering infrastructure strategy across APAC, partnering with exchanges, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support our trading businesses.

What you‘ll do

Infrastructure Business development

• Work closely with key APAC exchanges to understand, anticipate, and respond to upcoming technology and infrastructure changes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and strategic partners to support our infrastructure development
• Define go-to-market strategies for new market entries, exchange connectivity, and major infrastructure migrations

Infrastructure Architecture & Solution Design

• Develop and maintain a portfolio of infrastructure solutions to support multiple trading desks
• Leverage deep technical expertise to design infrastructure solutions
• Identify, propose, and introduce new infrastructure services and technologies to strengthen SIG’s trading capabilities in APAC

Infrastructure Project Delivery

• Lead and facilitate solution and vendor onboarding in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams
• Collaborate closely with Purchasing, global infrastructure teams, and trading desks to implement and enhance core infrastructure platforms
• Coordinate with third-party providers (datacenters, telecoms, service providers) to accelerate delivery and deployment

You will partner closely with global and regional infrastructure teams, as well as business stakeholders, on large-scale greenfield infrastructure projects and complex migrations supporting our APAC trading operations.

Your scope will span critical infrastructure domains, including low-latency exchange connectivity, market access, and corporate backbone networks.

To succeed in this position, you will demonstrate your ability for:

• Infrastructure business development leveraging your Pre-sales experience and mindset.
• Developing Infrastructure design thanks to deep technology knowledge on key Infrastructure domain like Network, Platform, storage solutions, Telecom solutions…
• Manage or facilitate key projects delivery using your Organizational and leadership skills

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in capital markets, with a strong focus on trading infrastructure
• Strong technical background, ideally with advanced network expertise and/or platform infrastructure exposure (network certifications are a plus)
• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, system architecture, and infrastructure interdependencies
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and respond to changing priorities
• Passion for technology and innovation, with interest in emerging areas such as automation, data analytics, and AI
• Experience working with project management and software development methodologies. Jira framework
• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables end-to-end
• Experience working across geographies, with willingness to travel within APAC (~10%)
• Proficiency in an additional language is a plus (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean)
